Custom news platform

An AdSense-funded newspaper that does not trade away speed.

CatamarcaYa

CatamarcaYa is financed by advertising, so advertising cannot be allowed to make it slow. It is a digital newspaper with more than one hundred thousand articles published since 2020, monetized with AdSense. We built it to order: our own server, pages that reach the phone already assembled, and a reserved space for every ad, so the page does not jump when an ad appears. With real readers on phones, Google rates all three Core Web Vitals as “fast”: main content in 2.1 seconds, response to a tap in 189 milliseconds and a layout shift of 0.06. In the lab, the median mobile PageSpeed score over the last 7 days is 97 out of 100; the score varies from run to run, which is why the panel shows the best result and labels it as such.
